Thapas Energy is proud to have associated with CIAL, the first airport in the world fully powered by Solar. We had the opportunity to work on the first phase for 100 kWp roof top solar panel installation which was in fact the first of its kind on-grid solar project in Kerala. The panels was installed on the rooftop of the building mounted on hot dip galvanized structures. 400 Nos of solar panels were used in the project to achieve a total plant capacity of 100 kWp. Inspired by the success of the plant, CIAL decided to set up larger scale solar PV plant to be fully powered by solar.
