KOCHI METRO RAIL LIMITED (KMRL) Kochi Metro Rail project is the one of the prestigious project in the state of Kerala. Thapas Energy had the privilege to work with KMRL for their solar installation at the rooftop of all the metro stations and maintenance yard in association with Hero Future Energy. The loading of the solar panels to rooftop was very challenging as all the stations were located at areas with high level of traffic. The expertise of our installation team helped us to safely mount the panels on the high roof area. The solar power plant was constructed on BOT model with an agreement for 25 years.

ISRO – INDIAN SPACE RESEARCH ORGANIZATION IPRC – ISRO PROPULSION COMPLEX TOTAL INSTALLED CAPACITY: 200 kWp TOTAL NUMBER OF PANELS USED: 615 nos (315Wp) INSTALLATION: RCC ROOF HIGHLIGHT: TOTAL INSTALLED CAPACITY IS ACHIEVED OVER THE ROOF OF 11 SEPARATE BUILDINGS ON THE SAME CAMPUS WHICH IS SPREAD ACROSS 6000 ACRE LAND. Thapas Energy consider it as a great privilege to have associated with ISRO for their solar power plant projects. It was a challenging solar panel installation work for the entire team as the solar plant was spread over the rooftop of several high-rise buildings with limited access. Fortunately, with the expertise of the team and wonderful support from the ISRO engineers, we were able to complete the solar panel installation with the highest quality and safety standards. Solar panels were installed on the RCC roof using precast concrete block and panels were mounted on hot dip galvanized structures which can withstand high wind load conditions. Total installed capacity of 200 kWp solar plant was achieved using 615 Nos of highly efficient solar panels.

CIAL - COCHIN INTERNATIONAL AIR PORT LTD TOTAL INSTALLED CAPACITY: 100 KW TOTAL NUMBER OF PANELS USED: 400 (250Wp) INSTALLATION: RCC ROOF KERALA’S FIRST GRID CONNECTED SOLAR SYSTEM. Thapas Energy is proud to have associated with CIAL, the first airport in the world fully powered by Solar. We had the opportunity to work on the first phase for 100 kWp roof top solar panel installation which was in fact the first of its kind on-grid solar project in Kerala. The panels was installed on the rooftop of the building mounted on hot dip galvanized structures. 400 Nos of solar panels were used in the project to achieve a total plant capacity of 100 kWp. Inspired by the success of the plant, CIAL decided to set up larger scale solar PV plant to be fully powered by solar.
