CALICUT INTERNATIONAL AIR PORT TOTAL INSTALLED CAPACITY: 750 KW TOTAL NUMBER OF PANELS USED: 2890 (260Wp) INSTALLATION: SINGLE RCC ROOF REVERVE POWER PROTECTION FOR DIESEL GENERATOR HYBRID MODEL Thapas Energy is privileged to have this project in Calicut, where our Head office is located. The solar panels were installed on the roof of the airport building which is stretched nearly to one Kilometer. Our team had to follow all security processes during the execution phase and had to manage time frame allowed to work at the site. As our solar technical team, had the experience of working with such Key government institutions, we had all documents required for the safety & security personnel’s to smoothly execute our Work. The total installed capacity of the solar power plant is 750KW installed on the RCC roof using hot dipped galvanized solar mounting structure. Around 2,890 units of Solar panels were used in this project. Calicut International airport Solar project was also one of the first project where Multi stage de-rating RPR was used to hybrid the solar power plant with Diesel generator
