SJMIT – CHITRADURGA SJM INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY TOTAL INSTALLED CAPACITY: 250 KW TOTAL NUMBER OF PANELS USED: 810 (310Wp) INSTALLATION: SHEET ROOF Our Solar power project at SJM Institute of Technology is one of our major work in education institution. The site had a very good infrastructure with south facing shade free area for solar panel installation. The construction of the building was planned in a way that it is friendly for solar panel installation. Highly efficient poly crystalline solar modules were used in this project with each solar panel capacity of 310Wp mounted on sheet roof using aluminum support structure which can withstand high windloads. Total installed capacity of 250KW solar plant was achieved using 810 Nos of solar panels.
